Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz issued a royal decree yesterday March 27, 2009 by which HRH Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz was assigned second Vice Prime Minister.
Born in 1934, Prince Naif started as Vice Prince of Riyadh in 1951, Prince of Riyadh in 1954, Vice Minister of Interior, Minister of Interior Affairs in 1975, and then Minister of Interior in that same year.
Prince Naif gained a number of medals and prizes both nationally and internationally. He is also known for being successful in developing the performance of security forces through continuous training as well as in fighting terrorism and developing services provided for pilgrims.
