KACND Holds 3 Training Sessions for īTarahomī

King AbdulAziz Center for National Dialogue has implemented three training packages on dialogue during the 6th Awareness week for the Committee of Imprisoned affairs in Riyadh "Tarahom". These sessions had the following titles: Developing Communication Skills in Dialogue, Our Dialogue with Our Children, The Successful Dialogist, as well as an open dialogue session.
Mrs. Wafa Al-Tuwaijre, Assistant Secretary General, has noted that these dialogue sessions aim at introducing the culture of dialogue, enhancing it in society, preparing the family which is the core of society. It also comes as a part of the Center's goals in taking over social responsibilities and supporting Tarahom and its benevolent role.
Mrs. Al-Tuwaijre also noted that efforts are done to serve 40 families benefiting from Tarahom services, as well as personnel responsible for prisoners and their families in institutions such as Tarahom, Women Prison, and Rehabilitation. The ladies benefiting from this program are 45 from all related fields.
The Dialogue Symposium held was entitled "The Role of Family in Developing Dialogue and Raising Children in that Concept" and took place in the National Center for Studies and Social Development. The symposium discussed the concept of family, its formation in Islam, general conceptions of dialogue culture, the negative impact of missing dialogue in the family, and how to establish dialogue in the family. The training sessions and the symposium were held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Norah Bint Ahmad Bin AbdulAziz, president of women section of Tarahaom.
