Ministry of Education Certified Trainers Eager to Implement KACND Programs

King AbdulAziz Center for National Dialogue has organized preparing certified trainers in spreading the culture of dialogue in the period from 9th to 20th of January, 2010 in the Women branch office. The program was implemented in the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed by the Center and the ministry, and with 32 superintendents from different offices in Riyadh district. The 50-hour training program covered package analysis and training theories in Dialogue Communication Skills" through workshops, exercises, dialogue symposiums, and on-field practices. The program was concluded with an evaluation session were the trainers got feedback on their performances in training followed by an open discussion with the Assistant Secretary General Mrs. Wafa Al-Tuwaijri who emphasized on the importance of such a program in spreading the culture of dialogue. The trainers expressed their gratitude for participating in the program and asserted their will in continuing the cooperation with the Center and help in spreading its messages. "Training on dialogue is key to enhancing the relation between students and teachers; hence, it should be included in all official education curricula," Said Mrs. Hessa Al-Saleh, KACND certified trainer and superintendent in Riyadh district.
