The Department of Studies and Research works to use scientific methodologies and follow the steps of scientific research, when conducting any study or research. It is also interested in studying social issues, phenomena and problems related to the objectives and competencies of the Center. It also works with a group of experts in various disciplines. The Department seeks to understand the various issues and concerns of the Center. The Department is also a consulting house that serves a number of different parties in benefiting from the expertise of the Center and challenging it in conducting qualitative and quantitative studies, conducting national social surveys, building social indicators at the national and international levels according to the best accepted standards scientifically and internationally, analyzing and evaluating public policies, and implementing studies based on implicit correlation tests
The Department of Studies and Research develops social indicators that measure the perceptions, attitudes and attitudes of society towards a range of social issues related to the objectives of the Center, through the implementation of periodic national surveys in which representative samples of Saudi society participate, the results of which support the direction of the Center's activities, and help support decision makers and public policy makers.
In addition to periodic national indicators, the Studies and Research Department conducts many quantitative and qualitative studies on Saudi society issues related to the Center's competencies, through the use of many experts and specialists in various fields. This track also relies on the use of scientific methodologies and the use of various tools such as the preparation of implicit tests and the establishment of a panel discussion and focus groups to monitor the issues under study.
